TV host does some fast talking

POPULAR television host Wimar Witoelar recently made a stout defence of his chosen profession.

At a seminar on the economic crisis, a participant criticised him, saying talk alone would not salvage the Indonesian

economy because what was needed was action.

“Whenever I try to start a business in the real sector, no one comes to cooperate,” The Jakarta Post quoted him as saying.

“But when I’m talking, many people will come and listen to me. 

“Do you think I have chosen the wrong profession?”
