Brigadier-General (Ret) Ishak Ismail served in the Singapore Armed Forces retiring in 2011 as Commander 6th Division and concurrently Commander of the Combined Arms Tactics Centre (CATC). In his 29 years of service, he had contributed significantly in training transformation for the Army. He is currently Regional Director for BAE Systems Hägglunds. His previous private sector experiences were with CWT Limited as CEO Defence Services and with ST Electronics (e-Services) Pte Ltd as Senior Vice-President/General Manager. He serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Maritime & Port Authority (MPA) of Singapore. He is still actively involved with the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) as an Operationally Ready NSman and also sits in various MINDEF and SAF Councils/Panels
