BANKING analyst Pradjoto lost 8 kg in the last three months, but not on purpose.
It was because of fear and stress, after being terrorised by strangers for blowing the whistle on the Bank Bali loan scandal which has implicated several members of former President B.J. Habibie’s inner circle.
“I weighed 60 kg but now I’m 52 kg,” The Jakarta Post quoted him to have said. “My pants are just too big.”
Mr Pradjoto, 46, said several suspicious-looking strangers were always outside his house. He and his family had also been receiving threatening phone calls, one of which demanded he held a press conference to withdraw his Bank Bali allegations.
“I asked my wife what she would do if I called for a news conference and she said she would ask for a divorce because she would be ashamed of marrying somebody who was so inconsistent,” he said.
