No pregnant pause for singer

MOST women featured in video clips in Indonesia are beautiful – and slim.

But pop singer Krisdayanti flew in the face of such conventional wisdom by making her prize-winning video, Menghitung Hari or Counting The Days, when she was eight months pregnant. “I see nothing wrong with making the video while pregnant,” The Jakarta Post quoted her as saying.

Her producers, however, were not taking any chances. The video’s final version featured her face, not her rounded waistline.
