STAUNCH Suharto critic and head of the National Mandate Party, Dr Amien Rais, walked out abruptly after addressing a recent political seminar.
Economist Hadi Soesastro, who presided over the event, said Dr Amien had an appointment for a medical check-up because of high blood pressure.
“Don’t let Suharto get your blood pressure up,” he told the opposition figure as he left the room, to laughter from the audience.
